Our final day on the Speedwell Project brought us back again to Parkanaur Forest Park near Dungannon. We met our friends from Killylea Primary School. We reflected on the programme and how we have learned so much from each other. Once again, our mixed school groups went orienteering through the forest. On this occasion, the challenges were based on riddles. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this walk and admired the deer.

The children then worked collaboratively and presented their shared vision projects that were based on coming up with solutions that affect our communities, our environment and our world.

To complete the project, we had a pizza party and celebrated, courtesy of the very capable Speedwell Team of Maryam, Patricia and Stephen. We are indeed extremely grateful to the Speedwell Trust for affording us the opportunity to be part of this project. We are also appreciative of staff and pupils of Killylea who made us feel so welcome at their school. A truly enriching learning experience and successful links forged!
