Congratulations to all our representatives that took part in the Cuman na Bunscoil finals on Wednesday in Belfast venues after securing their place in the Ulster competitions in a tough contest the week before in St. Mellans. A great display of handball was on show throughout the day in both venues.
U13 Girls singles. Ava Mc Kenna had a fantastic day and was Ulster runner up on the day to a very strong Cavan opponent.
U13 Girls Doubles. Beibhinn Mc Cluskey and Maisie Skinnader played extremely well just missing out on a final place finishing 3rd overall.
U11 Girls Singles. Shona Keenan continued her great form this year winning 3 games and finishing 3rd overall, just missing out on a final place.
U11 Girls Doubles: Orlaith Mc Ginnity and Jane Mc Kenna played very well and just missed out on semi final place.
U11 Boys Doubles: Paidi McCarey and Oran McKenna put in great performances in a tough competition to finish 3rd overall.
Our other players who played well in the county competition but unfortunately did not make it to the Ulster Competition were Caoimhín Mc Meel, Keegan Treanor, Shane Kelly and Shay Mc Kenna.
