Our TAP artist Mary Murphy did trojan work on STEAM! Yes it was all about art but it was done through science. When the children had done their etching based on their local environment, they then proceeded to immerse it in melted tin, hence the chemical process. The hall was a hive of activity. We are very grateful to Mary who had a novel approach to firing the children’s imaginations and showing how art and science meet!
