Our Creative Schools celebrations culminated in two wonderful musical and dramatic performances by the children on Friday 10th of June. Jack and the Beanstalk was presented by the infants and the first, second and third classes. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was presented by ranganna ceathair, cúig agus sé. A huge blast of creativity and talent and music was to the fore. The buzz of excitement was palpable as the children rehearsed and as they finally performed. The productions were facilitated by our Creative Associate Mary Farrelly who has been with us for the duration of the project and helped us on our creative journey.
There was a great turnout of parents and grandparents. Bhí an halla lán go doras agus tháinig na daoine ó chian is ó chóngar. It was especially uplifting to see our grandparents back in our school again. We also remembered grandparents who were no longer with us or who weren’t able to be present. Tea and tasty refreshments were provided by the Parents Association to conclude the successful day.
