Our school was delighted to be invited to participate in the Speedwell Trust Project which aims to promote cross border and cross community relations, thereby inspiring and empowering our young people. Our fifth and sixth classes are linked with a school in County Armagh and we celebrated our first day together in Parkanaur Forest Park near Dungannon. The children had a thoroughly enjoyable day getting to know each other, orienteering through the forest and doing a variety of team building exercises. We will visit each others schools over the next few weeks and then come together again in Parkanaur for a further celebration.
