The children from fifth and sixth classes are enjoying their work with our resident artist Mary Scott. They have been focussing on the importance of their community and the wider environment and landmarks of Carrickroe and Errigal Truagh. They took some great photos and these are represented in their painting of the mural. The children also explored the businesses in the surrounding area and these are also represented in their new mural as they are vital to the sustainability and vibrancy of our area. We look forward to displaying their colourful and meaningful creation at the front of our school. We appreciate the guidance and support of our creative practitioner, Mary and our local Monaghan Education Centre for affording us the opportunity to be part of this wonderful initiative.
