The Junior and Senior Infants had a wonderful day out to Oxford Island. There was great excitement on the bus journey and our young mathematicians counted the  overhead bridges along the way.

The weather was beautiful and children were able to see the clearly the fabulous views of Lough Neagh.

Our tour guide, Rosie, lead the children as they searched for Irish wild animals and they even found The Gruffalo! The children eagerly hunted for minibeasts in the woods and loved chasing butterflies in the large meadow. They made memory cards of their visit using wild flowers. The children also had the opportunity to investigate pond life. Our tour ended with a visit to the play park. It was a tour thoroughly enjoyed by all.
