Our debating team has won the All-Ireland quarter finals in the Concern Debating competition on May 10th against Glenswilly National School in Letterkenny with the motion.. ‘Celebrity led campaigns do more harm than good for the Global South’.

Our team then progressed to the All-Ireland Semi-finals which were also held in Dublin last Thursday 25th of May. We proposed the motion on climate change and the motion was carried. We competed against Knocklyon Senior School from Dublin. Both motions were very challenging and we had extremely tough competition on both days. We were thrilled to
realise that our team would be going to the All-Ireland which will be held on June 15th in the Helix in Dublin. It is a huge achievement for our school, our school community, our locality and our parish. So we are the last two schools in the competition of 270 schools from all over Ireland who took part. Maith sibh a pháistí!
