During our literacy stations, the ranganna ceatheair, cúig agus sé have been studying the poetry of some famous Irish poets. The poem ‘The Lake Isle of Innishfree’ by W.B. Yeats was really enjoyed by the children and it provided samples of strong literary devices like imagery, alliteration and onomatopoeia. It also provided a stimulus for art!
