Today we celebrate Grandparents Day virtually. Our grandparents, great grandparents, grand aunts and grand uncles are a very treasured and integral part of our school community. We are grateful to them for their love and kindness, for their wisdom, support and help to all the children of our school. Even though we can’t meet them in person, we appreciate them whether they are far or near. Today we thank them in pictures, paintings and words and virtual hugs.
We remember in a special way the grandparents who have passed away during this academic year especially during this pandemic. Suaimhneas síoraí dóibh. May they rest now in peace.
