A good time was had by all during Maths Week in Deravoy N.S. Pupils were busy problem-solving, playing Math games, taking part in Maths Trails, using digital technology and linking Maths with other curriculum subjects.
There was a lot of time and effort spent at home on the ‘Time’ Maths projects and we are delighted with the variety and high standard of work displayed at the entrance of the school.
You can help your child with our Numeracy focus this year by encouraging him/her to tell the time on analogue and digital clocks, identifying days and dates on calendars and by reading and interpreting timetables, schedules and TV guides.
