On Friday 31st May 2019, the pupils and staff of Deravoy N.S were delighted to welcome Grandparents to our school for the annual Grandparents’ Day. As usual, attendance at this event was fantastic, with some Grandparents travelling far and wide to come to Deravoy N.S. The pupils and staff love to prepare for this day as it gives us all a chance to show Grandparents how special they are to us.
Performances from the three classrooms were rich in variety and included singing, poetry, dance, drama agus ceol. Grandparents were able to enjoy the different talents we have in abundance here in our wonderful school.
A special word of thanks is due to our Parents’ Association for providing tea and refreshments after the performances.
It was a fabulous day and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
