The Christmas Plays were rehearsed and practised for the big performance on the 18 th of December. Ar dtús bhà ár gceoltóirà ag seinnt. This year we had a fantastic and diverse array of musical instruments, from tin whistles to accordions, flute and fiddle, guitar and mandolin, bodhráns and drums, three keyboards and two harps. What an extremely talented group of musicians we have in our school! Táimid Ãontach bródúil astu.
The infants and first and second classes performed their play entitled ‘A Miracle In Town’. Finally the third to sixth classes dramatized ‘When Sasha Got Stuck Up The Chimney’!!! We had stunning performances from every class. Thanks to the Parents Association for coordinating and serving up the tea and refreshments during the interval and all the parents and past pupils who helped tidy the hall afterwards. Thanks to Fabian Murphy who provided the sound and the microphones etc. Thanks to Liam and his helpers who were out in the evening transporting and setting up the stage for us. We would also like to put on record the generous donations to our school at the play.
